Tour Format

There are 8 events throughout the year. The results of each event will be added to the DPDC Tour Table according to the Tour Points section below. At the end of the year, the Top 16 players that have participated in at least 4 events will be invited to the DPDC Finals in a seeded bracket based on position on the Tour Table.

Event Participation

Entry fee for each event is $50 per person. ($40 with pre-registration)
$35 Towards Prize Pool
$5 Towards Admin Fee (Dart Connect, Trophy, Supplies)
$10 from Same Day Registrations will go to that Events Prize Pool

The events are capped at 40 players. They are filled with the first 40 to pay their entry fee.

Pre-registration information will be made available on the front page and the Facebook Page (facebook.com/DartPlayersDC) 2 weeks before each event date.

Event check-In begins at 12:00pm and will close at 1:00pm

Darts fly at 1:15pm

DPDC 2024 is a 2 phase competition, a Group Stage, and a Knockout Stage.

All matches must be played on the board you are assigned, in the order assigned, unless told differently by the event director.

Group Stage

A group stage will be added for all events with over 9 entries. Refer to the Group Format page for a breakdown of the format based on how may event entries.

Groups Stage Format

Depending on the number of entries, a certain number of players will be automatically seeded in to the knockout bracket based on their position on a running 10 event tour table. (Seeded players can decline seeding. They will earn the Tour Points that they end on that day.) The remaining “Challengers” will be randomly drawn in to groups.

Best of 5 legs (Group Stage Round Robin)

Group stage tie breakers are as follows…

  • Leg Differential
  • Head to Head Result

Any unforeseen need for tiebreakers can be broken in the group stage by a Best of 3 Shoot Off at the discretion of the Tour Director.

Knockout Stage

The Knockout bracket will be seeded in this order…

  • Seeded Players
  • Group Stage Winners (Randomized)
  • Secondary Group Stage Winners depending on number of entries (Randomized)

Best of 9 legs (Top 16)

Best of 11 legs (Top 8-Semifinals)

Best of 13 legs  (Finals)

Board Calls

You should be up at your board, ready to start play no later than 5 minutes after the conclusion of the previous match.

Each player is responsible for knowing where they need to be at all times.

Breaks

During a match, each player can call and take one break of 2 minutes in length. This break MUST be clearly requested upon the completion of a leg with a player hitting a double to win.

There will be NO breaks allowed or given, going into the LAST 3 legs in any match.

It is up to each player to help keep the competition moving. Know when you are up to play. Take all bathroom, smoke, bar breaks when you have the ample time to do so.

Tour Points

1st – 12 Pts
2nd – 8 Pts
Top 4 – 6 Pts
Top 8 – 4 Pts
Top 16 – 2 Pts
Entry – 1 Pts

Leg differential is the tie-breaker.

Payouts

Standard Events pay out %50 of the days prize pool to Approximately %25 of finalists. The other %50 will go in to the DPDC Finals Prize Pool.

Super Events pay out %80 of the days prize pool to Approximately %50 of finalists. The other %20 will go in to the DPDC Finals Prize Pool.

The DPDC Finals Payout will be payed out %100 of all Finals Prize pool money collected at all events, based on the Finals Payout Chart.

First place winner is also awarded a 2025 Championship Darts Circuit Tour Card.

PDC bull shot rule

Player at the top of draw has choice of first or second for bull

Player must hit a 25 (Single bull) or a 50 (Double bull) to advance. 

Outside is outside

NO measurements. 

Every dart gets pulled by the player.

In case of a tie, re-throw in reverse order

Winner of the bull starts odd numbered legs(1,3,5,7,9,11)

Loser of the bull starts even numbered legs(2,4,6,8,10)

Both Players confirm the match score to a tournament official. (leg differential is a tour points tie breaker)

Knockout Scorekeeping

The knockout stage uses the loser scores rules. Once a player is knocked out, it is their responsibility to keep score for the next match on that board. Using this system, the most any one person has to score is once.

(the last player drawn on a board will be asked to additionally score the first match, A DPDC official will score the finals)

Dress Code

DPDC events have no dress code per se but we reserves the right to require any clothing/headwear, deemed inappropriate, be removed upon request. Headphones/earbuds are not allowed during play.
